Ken lost his job in August, after having also lost his previous job of 24 years just 11 months prior. Ken found most job opportunities he was interested in required that he have his CDL-A license, but being without income there was no way he’d be able to take the course. With the help of Michigan Works! Career Navigator Rachel and Career Advisor Niki, Ken was able to get his truck driving training paid for. Within a few weeks, Ken had passed his course at Road Warriors Truck Driving School and received his CDL-A. He is very appreciative of the assistance he received at Michigan Works! and looks forward to his future job opportunities. Ken shares that no matter how old one is, dreams can still come true!
