On March 29, seven students from Vanderbilt Area Schools (Five enrolled in MiWorks’ WIOA Youth program) were taken down to Kirtland Community College and given a tour of the facility. Three elected to get haircuts done by the Cosmetology students, and all were provided with lunch by the school. The students were given a comprehensive look at a majority of the programs offered by Kirtland, including the art program, welding, nursing, and surgical tech training.
