Never Too Late for a New Direction

When Kim came to Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium, he was unemployed and ready to begin a new career path. He recognized that earning his CDL-A could help open the door to new employment opportunities, but needed financial assistance to make his training possible.

With case management and tuition assistance from Michigan Works!, Kim was able to enroll at Road Warrior Truck Driving School and work toward his goal.

Kim successfully completed his training and earned his CDL-A. Following graduation, Michigan Works! also assisted him with updating his resume as he began searching for employment where he can put his new credential to work.
