Noah came to Michigan Works looking to increase his employability by completing his CDL-A. While he was already employed with Northern Tube, he knew that getting his CDL-A license would open more employment opportunities. He was enrolled in the WIOA Youth Program with Youth Career Advisor Allison Oakes, as well as the Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates program. Through these programs, Michigan Works! was able to not only pay for Noah’s CDL training, but also mileage support to and from the training.
Noah quickly completed his training with Road Warrior Truck Driving School in Gaylord and is actively applying for CDL-related employment opportunities. Noah is thankful for the assistance Michigan Works! was able to provide and looks forward to his future.
