Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium JMG Team Recognized for Excellence at Statewide Summer Summit

Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium is proud to celebrate several members of its Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates (JMG) team who were recognized during Youth Solutions’ Annual Statewide Summer Summit in Mount Pleasant.
The annual Summer Summit brings together JMG specialists, managers, employer partners, and youth from across Michigan for professional development, collaboration, and recognition of outstanding contributions to the program. Awards celebrate individuals and teams who demonstrate exceptional commitment to helping young people overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve their goals.
This year, multiple members of the Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium team were honored for their dedication to youth success.
Jeanie Flory Named Outstanding JMG Specialist of the Year

Jeanie Flory was recognized as an Outstanding JMG Specialist of the Year, an award honoring specialists who consistently demonstrate excellence in delivering the JMG mission and creating meaningful opportunities for youth.
Jeanie was recognized for her unwavering commitment to the young people she serves. Through strong relationships with students, schools, employers, and community partners, she helps youth navigate challenges, explore career pathways, and access opportunities they may not have otherwise experienced.
Her dedication extends throughout rural Northeast Michigan, where she works to remove barriers and ensure students have the support and resources needed to reach their goals.
Allison Oakes Receives Two Statewide Honors

Allison Oakes received both the Living Our Values Advocate Award and the JMG Influencer Award.
The Living Our Values Advocate Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate a commitment to expanding opportunities and advocating for Michigan youth. The JMG Influencer Award celebrates professionals who use communication and storytelling to highlight the achievements of students and share the impact of JMG.
Allison was recognized for her dedication to supporting youth, building partnerships, celebrating student accomplishments, and helping others understand the difference JMG makes in the lives of young people.
Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium Named JMG Team of Teams Award Recipient
The Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium JMG team was honored with the JMG Team of Teams Award, recognizing organizations that demonstrate collaboration, teamwork, and a shared commitment to youth success.
Despite serving a large geographic region, the team has built a strong culture of communication, support, and continuous improvement. Staff work together to identify opportunities, celebrate successes, and ensure youth across the region receive consistent, high-quality services.
Ashley Udell Recognized for Data Excellence
Ashley Udell was recognized with the JMG JAGForce Jedi recognition, honoring excellence in using data to demonstrate program impact and support continuous improvement.
Through thoughtful use of program data, Ashley helps highlight successes, identify opportunities, and strengthen services for the youth Michigan Works! serves.
Celebrating a Commitment to Youth Success
