Congratulations to Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium’s Youth Program and staff on their multiple Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates (JMG) awards at the Youth Solutions’ Annual Summer Summit!

We congratulate Ashley Udell on securing the Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) 6-of-6 National Award, the most prestigious award given to JAG affiliate programs. This award recognizes affiliates who have met or surpassed all of JAG’s six rigorous performance metrics dedicated to ensuring young people succeed in education and employment.

Congratulations to Youth Career Advisors Jeanie Flory, covering Cheboygan and Presque Isle counties, and Erin O’Rourke, covering Crawford County, for their JAG National 6-of-6 Awards. This prestigious award recognizes the individual program Specialists who have met or surpassed all of JAG’s six rigorous performance metrics dedicated to ensuring young people succeed in education and employment.

Ashley Udell was also recognized as Outstanding Manager of the Year. The Outstanding Manager of the Year award is given to one JMG Manager each year who exemplifies the qualities of an exceptional leader. An outstanding JMG Manager not only demonstrates dedication, but also motivates, supports, and inspires their team, helping them through their daily work, and allowing them to do what they do best - providing Michigan’s youth the support and experiences that prepare them for their futures. She will be recognized at the Youth Solutions Board of Directors meeting in August as well.

Erin O’Rourke also was awarded the Living our Values: Transformational Award and was recognized for her commitment to creating lasting, positive change in the lives of Michigan’s youth — helping them grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.

Youth Career Advisor Seth Gruenberg, covering Otsego County, was awarded the Living our Values: Advocates Award, being recognized for his courageous advocacy and fierce commitment to expanding opportunities and building a brighter future for Michigan’s youth.
