Jeremy currently works for a local tree service company and recognized that earning his CDL-A would allow him to take on additional responsibilities and contribute even more effectively to his employer. With encouragement from his workplace and a desire to grow in his career, he decided to pursue this important credential.
Through the support of Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium, Jeremy was able to access multiple funding sources to help cover the cost of CDL-A training, making it possible for him to move forward with his goal.
One challenge Jeremy faced was adjusting back into a study routine after being away from a classroom setting for some time. With persistence and support from Michigan Works! staff, he stayed focused and successfully earned his CDL-A.
Jeremy shared his appreciation for the support he received, noting that the staff were consistently helpful, knowledgeable, and encouraging throughout his journey.
