From Seasonal Work to Year-Round Success

Austin was working as a seasonal snowplow driver when he began exploring ways to build a more stable, year-round career. Knowing that earning a CDL-A would open new opportunities, he turned to Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium for assistance.

Through tuition assistance and personalized career guidance, Austin enrolled at Road Warrior Truck Driving School, where he successfully earned his CDL-A license. The new credential quickly paid off. Upon completing training, Austin was promoted to a CDL-A Driver and Laborer position with Earthplan Landscaping, allowing him to transition from seasonal employment into a more stable career.
