Richard dropped out of school in 1989 due to bullying. Then he moved to northern Michigan, had kids and raised them, which left him little time to seek completing his education.

At Michigan Works!, Career Navigator Kelli referred Richard to Adult Education for GED services. He completed his GED training, graduated, and now plans to pursue his Information Technology Certificate.

Thankful for the services and help he received, Richard encourages others, saying, “Don’t give up! Challenges and setbacks happen – don’t get discouraged!”
