Dann has been working as a well driller since the age of 15—a career he genuinely enjoys and has built years of experience in. Looking to grow in his role and take on additional responsibilities, he set his sights on earning his CDL-A. With this credential, he knew he could help transport drilling equipment to job sites and become an even greater asset to his employer.
To make that goal a reality, Dann turned to Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium for financial assistance. With their support, he enrolled in and successfully completed training at GOC Truck Driving School. Michigan Works! helped make the training affordable and supported him throughout the process.
Now CDL-A certified, Dann is equipped to expand his role and contribute in new ways on the job. He is especially proud of the skills he gained during training, including mastering challenging maneuvers that pushed him beyond his comfort zone and strengthened his confidence behind the wheel.
Today, Dann is not only advancing his own career but also bringing added value to his employer with every job site he supports.
