Information Sessions Scheduled for Going PRO Talent Fund Grants
Thanks to the state of Michigan, Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium can help employers apply for $54 million in training funds available for the year 2024 through the state's Going PRO Talent Fund program. The money is meant to help employers with a demonstrated skilled talent need and is available to private and nonprofits alike. Employers of all sizes in all industries are encourage to apply through their local Michigan Works! agency.
To learn more about the fund and how it works, Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium is hosting 6 free information sessions across the region for employers interested in learning about the program. They are on Sept 19 at 11am in Alpena, Sept 21 at 11am in Cheboygan, Sept 26 at 1pm in Grayling, Sept 27 at 11am in Gaylord and at 1pm in Mio, and a virtual session at 1pm on Sept 28.
