Tammy came to Michigan Works! for assistance after having been fired and unable to find new work for three months. With no income, she realized she needed help to get back on track. With Michigan Works! BRES program and the help of Career Navigator Rachel, Tammy was able to not only find new employment, but also get the work clothes she needed to start her new job. Tammy was thankful for the assistance available and stated that the challenge of being jobless made her realize she’s much better off working. She feels positive she will succeed in this new position and is happy she’ll be able to fit in with the rest of the employees with the proper dress code.
