Logan came to Michigan Works! Youth Services looking to complete his education. His formal education ended with the second grade and Logan has been self-taught ever since. He wanted to complete his GED credential, but needed support to navigate the GED process and cover the costs of the prep and test.
Logan worked with Youth Career Advisor Allison Oakes, who was able to help Logan with his GED test purchases and get mileage assistance to get to/from the testing site.
Logan worked diligently completing GED Ready tests and developing his own plan of study, and in just under 2 years, he was able to attain his GED credential. Logan looks forward to a bright future and is presently job searching. He has expressed his appreciation for the Michigan Works! Youth Services and the support that assisted and enabled him to reach his education goal.
